Muscle Testing by Proxy: How Healing from a Distance Works

How We Can Work with You from Anywhere in the World

What if you don't live near our office…or even in the same state or country?

Distance doesn't necessarily have to prevent you from receiving the care you deserve. Through muscle testing by proxy, we are able to utilize Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) and Autonomic Response Testing (ART) without physically touching you, allowing us to work with clients remotely through virtual platforms.

If you've ever wondered, "How can you test my body if you're not physically with me?" you're not alone. It's one of the first questions many people have when they learn we offer this type of service.

The answer begins with understanding how we approach your health from a distance.

What Is Muscle Testing by Proxy?

Muscle testing by proxy is a technique that allows muscle testing to be performed when the person being tested isn't physically present.

In a traditional muscle testing session, the practitioner works directly with the patient's body and observes the patient's muscle response. With by-proxy muscle testing, another individual serves as the patient's physical proxy. The proxy's muscle response is used in place of the patient's physical presence during the testing process.

This makes it possible for a practitioner to work with someone who may be hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

The patient doesn't need to be physically connected to the practitioner (or even in the same room) for the muscle testing process to take place.

How Does Muscle Testing by Proxy Work from a Distance?

This is where our understanding of energetic connection comes into play.

In quantum physics, entanglement describes a phenomenon in which two particles can share a connected state even when separated by distance. Quantum entanglement itself is a well-established phenomenon in physics.

Our approach to healing at a distance draws on this concept as a way of understanding how energetic connection may extend beyond physical proximity. We live in a world filled with energy, frequencies, and interconnected systems and we view each person as having an energetic field that can be connected with through focused intention.

Because of this, physical distance is not viewed as a barrier to energetic connection.

Within our practice, we believe that physical distance does not prevent energetic connection for the purpose of correcting root cause issues. The concept of quantum entanglement provides one way of understanding this idea: in quantum physics, entangled particles can remain correlated across distances.

During a telehealth appointment, we establish a connection with the patient and use a proxy who is physically present with the practitioner. The proxy's muscle response then provides the physical feedback used during the testing process.

In this way, the patient's physical presence in the office isn't required for the practitioner to conduct the muscle-testing portion of the session.

Why Use a Proxy?

The purpose of using a proxy is simple: to provide a physical muscle response when the patient cannot be physically present.

This can make evaluations accessible to people who:

  • Live in another city or state

  • Live outside the United States

  • Are traveling

  • Have difficulty traveling to our office

  • Prefer to receive care from home

  • Simply aren't located near our practice

Whether you're across town or across the world, distance doesn't have to be a barrier to receiving proper care.

What Happens During a Telehealth Appointment?

Telehealth appointments are conducted through our virtual platform (Jane App) that allows you and your practitioner to communicate throughout the appointment. While our in-person appointments for new patients are 60-minutes in length, our telehealth appointments are two 30-minute appointments scheduled over a 2 to 3 day period, allowing the practitioner to work with the proxy for the purpose of the muscle testing by proxy to complete the initial examination.

You can relax in your own space while your practitioner works with the proxy in the office.

The Initial 30-minute Appointment generally includes:

  1. Connecting virtually — You meet with your practitioner through our online scheduling platform, Jane App, and discuss what you'd like to address.

  2. Review of Medical History & Lifestyle — Your practitioner will review your medical history, current supplements and medications, as well as your lifestyle and current diet.

  3. Review of Chief Complaint(s) — Your practitioner will review your chief complaints and ask any clarifying questions they may have, giving you an opportunity to do the same.

  4. Pre-Examination Based Recommendations — Your practitioner may occasionally make initial recommendations to your diet and/or lifestyle prior to muscle testing based on symptomology presented; this is on a case-by-case basis.

In between the two appointments:

  1. Working with the proxy — A proxy who is physically present with the practitioner provides the muscle response used for testing.

  2. Performing the assessment — The practitioner uses NRT, ART, or both modalities to ask questions and explore the areas relevant to your body’s needs and complete the examination.

  3. Recommendations Documented — Your practitioner will document your stressors, organs and body processes that need support, and what protocols would be best suited according to the muscle testing performed.

  4. Report of Findings (ROF) Completed — The administrative staff will complete a ROF, available to you on your patient portal as well as emailed to you, prior to your ROF appointment.

The Report of Findings 30-minute Appointment generally includes:

  1. Connecting virtually — You meet with your practitioner through our online scheduling platform, Jane App, and discuss what was found during the muscle testing by proxy assessment.

  2. Report of Findings (ROF) Review — Your practitioner will review your ROF with you, detailing what organ or body processes need to be addressed as a priority.

  3. Protocol Review — Your protocol will reflect the precise recommendations for movement, dietary changes, lifestyle changes, and products needed to address the stressors found as well as support the body during the healing process.

What Can Muscle Testing by Proxy Help Me Understand?

Just as muscle testing does for our patients in-person, muscle testing by proxy can help you address a myriad of health concerns such as:

  • Digestive function

  • Energy levels

  • Immune system support

  • Stress response

  • Nutritional needs

  • Overall wellness patterns & unwanted behaviors

  • Emotional experiences

  • Stress and emotional patterns

  • Perceived energetic imbalances

  • Limiting beliefs or unresolved experiences

  • Patterns that may be affecting your sense of well-being

Does Distance Really Matter?

From the perspective of our healing center, no.

Whether you're sitting in our office or sitting in your home thousands of miles away, we can use the same by-proxy muscle-testing approach to guide you to a better quality of life.

That's what makes muscle testing by proxy such an exciting option for people who may otherwise have limited access to these services.

You don't have to live in Texas.

You don't have to travel.

You don't even have to be in the same country.

If you're able to connect with us virtually, we can work with you from wherever you are.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really perform muscle testing from another state or country?

Yes. Within our practice, we use muscle testing by proxy to perform the testing remotely. The practitioner uses a proxy for muscle response while maintaining focused attention and energetic connection with the client during the assessment.

Do I have to be physically present at any time for an appointment?

No. Telehealth appointments can be performed through our online scheduling platform, Jane App, allowing you to participate from wherever you are.

Do I need to know how to muscle test myself?

No. Your practitioner performs the muscle testing by proxy during the session. You simply participate in the conversation and session.

Is Muscle Testing by Proxy the Same as Medical Testing?

No.

Muscle testing by proxy is a technique used within complementary alternative wellness practices. It is not a laboratory test, medical diagnostic procedure, or substitute for appropriate medical care. If you have a medical condition, concerning symptoms, or questions about your health, you should continue to work with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

How does quantum entanglement relate to muscle testing by proxy?

Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon in quantum physics involving correlations between entangled particles across distance. In our practice, we use the concept as part of the framework for understanding energetic connection beyond physical proximity.

The use of quantum entanglement as an explanation for muscle testing by proxy is an interpretation of the practice and should not be confused with an established medical mechanism.

Can I do a remote session if I'm outside the United States?

Yes. Because telehealth appointments are conducted virtually, we can work with clients who are located outside Texas and, where legally and practically appropriate, outside the United States as well.

What do I need for a remote session?

You'll need a reliable internet connection and a device that allows you to participate in a video appointment, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Most importantly, you'll want a quiet, comfortable place where you can relax and participate fully.

Muscle Testing Without the Distance

One of the most meaningful aspects of the work we do is the ability to work with people who otherwise might never have access to these services.

Whether you're just a few miles away or on the other side of the world, physical distance doesn't have to prevent you from receiving support.

Through muscle testing by proxy, we use our own muscle response as part of the assessment process while maintaining focused intention and energetic connection with you.

If you've been curious about it but assumed you needed to be local, you don't necessarily have to be.

You can be anywhere. We can meet you there.
